I’ve decided to do a transformation series on this blog, because these stories inspire me and overload my love tank every single day! Sam was one of my first customers. When we started chatting about her goals she explained to me that she wanted to tone up before her upcoming trip to Florida. Based on her goals and her current routine we hooked her up with Beachbody’s 21 Day Fix EXTREME challenge pack.
If you want to talk about committing to a program….Sam is a PERFECT example of what I mean. This girl knows the nutrition plan front to back, asks questions when she has them, drinks Shakeology daily, and crushes the workouts every. single. day.
Throughout her first round of the program she’d tell me how good she was feeling and that she was loving her results. Still, when she shared this before and after picture I was blown away. I mean, seriously…BEACH BABE, am I right?? She lost 10 pounds and gained lean muscle. You can feel her confidence shining through in that second picture. I also want to share with you that Sam’s journey to health didn’t just start in February. Since June 2013 this inspiring woman has lost 50 pounds. 50 pounds, people! She took the first step, hasn’t looked back, and so can you.
This is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. Yes, you lose weight and inches, but this is about SO much more than that too. It’s about taking back control of your health with knowledge and workouts that empower you to be the best version of you.
Sam quickly became a coach as soon as she started to feel those waves of change ripple through her. Now she’s helping others along their health and fitness journey. Nothing worth having ever comes easy. Sam WORKS for it. And that’s what makes her success that much sweeter. I couldn’t be more proud to have her in my life or on my team of coaches.
I love both hard-boiled eggs and avocado so this recipe has become my go-to lunch on 21 Day Fix. Avocado is a perfect substitute for mayonnaise in an egg salad because it has so many wonderful health benefits. However, avocados are a bit high in calories which is why about 1/4 avocado fulfills your blue container for the day if you are a Fixer.
Avocado Egg Salad Open Faced Sandwich
21 Day Fix: 1 red, 1 yellow, 1 blue
2 hard-boiled eggs
1/2 whole wheat English muffin, toasted
black pepper (optional)
red pepper flakes (optional)
Smash up the hard-boiled eggs and avocado with a fork to desired consistency. Season to taste with black and red pepper. Serve on top of whole wheat English muffin. That’s it! I like to add a side of fruit to mine as shown in the picture. If you do the same then check off a purple container if you’re a Fixer. Enjoy!
My story begins when a friend posted a picture on Instagram of her 21 Day Fix Challenge pack arriving in the mail. My husband and I wanted a health refresh after having the twins so we put in our order. We figured we’d follow the meal plan, drink our daily Shakeology and sweat out the 30 minute workouts. We’d lose a few pounds and once the 21 days were over we’d move on. The coaching opportunity was mentioned to me a few times throughout the month, but I didn’t think too much about it. Then on day 21 we took our “after” pictures. It is not in my comfort zone to show these before and after photos, but I think it’s important to share my whole story. When the after pictures were taken I was three months postpartum with the twins. These are my results from one round of 21 Day Fix:
The moment I looked at this photo collage I knew I would be saying yes to becoming a Beachbody coach. I knew I wanted other people to feel this way. 21 Day Fix laid out the road map, but I put in the work and these were the results. The group support kept me accountable and I was able to continue breastfeeding my twins because I was getting plenty of calories with the meal plan! There are so many reasons I love this program, but I’ll save that for another post. (Shout out to this amazing group of challengers who loved round one so much that they are now pushing through round two!)
Fast forward a week. I’m hosting my first 21 Day Fix challenge group on February 9th and I couldn’t be more excited to start helping people achieve their fitness goals. As far as the business opportunity I’ve already made enough commissions to pay for our monthly Shakeology supply. That was my original goal…to help people…and break even to be able to pay for our Beachbody orders. Now that I’ve achieved that in just the first week my mind is starting to open up to greater possibilities.
